Gamer's Ramblings

As I still wanna get my level 50 brute I played Denryoko a bit solo yesterday and she was doing amazingly well. She killed Rikti and even Artemis Knives without any trouble and the Knives are normally a royal pain.

On a funny note: I LOVE the dialogue of the NPCs in CoX. They are so funny. Major, MAJOR kudos to Warwitch (the dev who makes them) for all the times she as made me smile. Here is one I found especially funny yesterday when I kidnapped some poor dude:

"Okay, I can handle this. I'm okay. As long as I don't anatgonize the super powered maniac I'll come through this."

Today Winzling and Zombiemouse were on again and we teamed up of course - later on Rogue Elf joined us too who is already level 38 now. Wow, he sure levels fast!

First mish we did - still without Rogue Elf - was a timed mission where we faced first Positron and then Valkyrie. Can anyone tell me if Positron has always had some sort of MoG that simply lasts FOREVER?? He just stayed completely unhittable for several minutes and it was incredibly annoying. I ran out of Overload but we did manage to take him out without anyone dying. Apart from him that is...

Then we went up against Valkyrie and took her out quite easily. The first time. Then she rezzed and pulled her MoG and then it was a boring as always. Just standing there taunting and waiting for her to run out of it:


Winzling is level 40 now, so he picked up his patron to get access to his patron pool powers. As he constantly runs out of endu he got Scirocco. Power Sink should at least help some and as Denryoko took Scirocco too - yay, MORE red ligtning! - they will be able to complete their missions simultaneously.

We have only done 3 of them so far but as always the patron story arcs are very good and challenging.

In the last mission for today we had to take out Silver Mantis and I managed to get a very nice screenie of her:


I totally love her outfit. That's exactly what Gram would need. Sadly it's exclusive on her so no way I will ever get my hands on it. Also really like all her thorns. Again, exclusive on her. *sigh*

But damn, she has one ugly face.

I guess I can live without the outfit and powers as long as I don't have to use that face...

Oh and Zombiemouse made it to level 20. That sure was quick!
